expandROBORDER
ROBORDER aims at developing and demonstrating a fully-functional autonomous border surveillance system with unmanned mobile robots including aerial, water surface, underwater and ground vehicles which will incorporate multimodal sensors as part of an interoperable network. Our intention is to implement a heterogenous robot system and enhance it with detection capabilities for early identification of criminal activities at border and coastal areas along with marine pollution events.

expandSafeShore
The mission of the SafeShore project is to tackle existing problems and gaps in coastal border surveillance by developing a system for detection of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) using state-of-the-art, low cost, and low-emission technology. The system will be integrated with existing systems and create a continuous detection line along the border to help border officials in preventing crime such trafficking of human beings and smuggling of drugs.

expandPERSEUS
The EU-funded 'Protection of European seas and borders through the intelligent use of surveillance' (PERSEUS) project aims to develop and demonstrate an appropriate system. The innovation combines existing national systems and provides new capabilities that exceed European Border Surveillance System (EUROSUR) 2013 expectations.

expandSeaBILLA
he SeaBILLA proposal aims to 1) define the architecture for cost-effective European Sea Border Surveillance systems, integrating space, land, sea and air assets, including legacy systems; 2) apply advanced technological solutions to increase performances of surveillance functions; 3) develop and demonstrate significant improvements in detection, tracking, identification and automated behaviour analysis of all vessels, including hard to detect vessels, in open waters as well as close to coast.
