During the midmorning of the first meeting day, the ALFA consortium members got an insight behind the curtains of the SIVE command and control centre of the Guardia Civil headquarter. During this impressive and valuable presentation of SIVE, the current status in terms of the border control was provided as well. Right after the walkthrough of the SIVE command and control centre, the WP4-related topics were treated, starting with the feedback and discussion session on questionnaires on landing site prediction as well as on the specification of the threat assessment function. In order to conclude the first meeting day in a more unconstrained atmosphere, the consortium met for a common dinner and used this opportunity for further discussions. On the second day, remaining tasks of WP4 and their impact were presented and discussed, these include the presentation of the layer for end-user data as well as the landing site prediction and its database. After that, a brief overview on the exploitation strategies of ALFA was provided followed by a demonstration of the first results on preliminary framework implementations. In order to recap all the fruitful discussions and open points of the past two days, a wrap-up session was used at the end of this kick-off meeting, the next steps were noted down and responsibilities were clearly assigned.
